God Is Good Arts began when I started collecting used bibles from second hand and thrift stores.  I would read each highlighted verse and every hand written note within the bibles.  I felt as if I made a connection with the Bibles’ prior owner.  I wondered, as I read the highlighted notes and passages, what was the inspiration that they received from that particular verse?

I was collecting bibles for a little over a year when I was given the area to add the books highlighted pages into my paintings.  Several years later, I started to use one page out of each bible per painting and began gifting that particular bible with the painting.

I hope you enjoy the artwork.  My goal is to use the partings as a conversation starter about the Word.  Begin the discussion by pointing out the highlighted verse, the name of God, or the cross in your painting and see where the Holy Spirit takes you.
